History of
Le WIC de Paris
The Women's International Club of Paris was formed in early 1996 to enable women of different nationalities living in and around Paris to share their cultures in a friendly environment.
The Club is a non-profit making organization and members may not use it for commercial purposes. It has no political or religious involvement.
Le WIC is open to all women who have lived in an international environment and who are willing to participate in the life of the Club.
It is the aim of Le WIC de Paris to offer a wide array of activities and functions for members by members.
Our membership is composed of approximately 250 members of 52 different nationalities, and a balance is kept to ensure that a truly international atmosphere is maintained within the Club.
All functions are conducted in English but we aim to provide a situation where less fluent non-native English speakers will feel confident to contribute.
The Club has a monthly meeting 10 months of the year (excluding July and August) with a guest speaker, followed by lunch. The Club also has a monthly coffee morning, normally at a member's home.
Each member receives a monthly newsletter and a Le WIC de Paris Membership Directory.
The annual membership fee is 45 Euros with a 10 Euros application fee. The club Membership year runs from 1st October to 30th September each year.
